Après le décès du président Laurent Dona Fologo, on vient d’apprendre celui du célèbre magistrat, ancien président de la Cour suprême Tia Koné. L’information a été donnée ce mardi 9 février 2021 après midi par le ministre Albert Mabri Toikeusse sur sa page Facebook : « J’ai appris avec beaucoup de tristesse les décès du Président Tia KONE et de Madame Solange Woi Messe.
Puisse Dieu accepter leur âme et consoler leur famille, Madame Lucienne Tia et le Doyen Alphonse Woi Messe en particulier. Condoléances à la Sous-préfecture de Gbangbegouine, au pays Toura, à Biankouma et à la grande région du Tonkpi. »
Homme de droit à la verve puissante et à la tête froide, on retient de Tia Koné celui qui a respecté la Constitution de son pays en 2000 en rejetant, arguments à l’appui, la candidature anticonstitutionnelle du président du RDR, Alassane Ouattara, pour la présidentielle de 2000. Il semblait avoir le don de régler les problèmes de la Côte d’Ivoire à coups de « Il échet, dès lors… ». « Il échet, dès lors… » était une sorte de couperet dont le cliquetis montrait que le dossier était classé.
Le Président Tia Koné est donc mort, et le moins qu’on puisse dire de lui, c’est qu’il a été « quelqu’un » ! Il échet, dès lors… il lui faut un hommage mérité.
